Yeah, I remember that, I just don't see them doing it twice.

Of course it is possible there is a Z/28 coming. It is also possible this is an abandoned project / left over preproduction parts for what became the ZLE

I agree, it really can be anything. I would be surprised if the Z/28 did come back but I'm wrong more often than not, so who knows.

Two days ago, someone spotted a camo car with the modified grille.

And, I did not hear any supercharger whine.

You can't test at the Nurburgring these days without being spotted.

It's unlikely GM would develop a new Z/28 without running it at the 'Ring, given that they run all their other performance models there.

We haven't seen any other disguised Camaro-shaped cars running there since what turned out to the ZL1-1LE.

So until I see something that looks like the above image testing there, I remain sceptical that a 6th Gen Z/28 is on the way. Given the ZL1-1LE has some pretty extreme aero on the front bumper, would you also not expect any 6th Gen Z/28 front bumper to have similar if not even more extreme aero pieces?

Quite happy to eat my words if I turn out to be wrong though. I'd be quite happy to see one, though I wouldn't trade my 5th Gen for it...

If this is a Z/28, it's likely an early power train mule. Maybe testing the power train and suspension. The first picture only came out 2 days ago. Keep an eye on the Ring between now and fall. If anything shows up there, it might give us more proof.

I think anything is possible but with the ZL1 1LE, I think a 6th Gen Z/28 is not as likely now. But I am definitely still hoping we see one.

Yeah, especially with the Camaro not getting the engines it needs. With Corvette going all supercharged for its hi po engines, the Camaro was left out.

I just find it odd that these camo cars are running around now. If they needed more testing for the ZL1 1LE, they would just drive preproduction cars. All we can do is keep watching.
