Well that was fun, but once is probably enough.

So I went out and turned off traction control and WOT'd her at 5mph in 1st gear. Man that rear end slide around all over the place. Spun her all the way thru first and half the way thru 2nd. LS3's have some power. But I do not want to kill my tires so traction control will stay on in the future.

Wide Open Throttle

Yea, tried it once too, only to be told the next day that the right quarter panel was only a few inches away from the partially closed gate when I went out it!!

Everybody has to try it at least once. Us guys with the V6 can try it a lot more often.

I'm waiting until my rear tyres are ready to replace, and then I've got to give a burnout a go.

I can do that all the time. V6 FTW! lol.

I beat my truck like a red headed step child though. It doesn't have a posi rear end so it's a one wheel wonder unless the road is wet.

Why can 6's do it more than 8's? I have a 6 so I'm not hating just wondering what the difference is?

It's just easier to control with less power. 323HP is more than enough to break traction. If you do it on the street in an SS, like the OP is saying, youre taking a chance.

I bet if you broke double digits, you'd have made quite a cloud.
