Who makes rear speaker adapters?

Quick! The body shop will have all that stuff torn down and I want to have them install the rear 6x9 adapters while they have it apart.

Who else besides ******** makes them?

Ask at one of your local audio shops. Most make those adapters for their installs. I think ********'s were less when I asked around the local shops in my area.

why dont you want the ******** ones? is it just the limited time? if not the ******** ones are crazy cheap. it would be hard to get the MDF and do it yourself for that cheap honestly.

I used adapters from http://www.car-speaker-adapters.com/ in my front doors. I didn't run rear speakers in my stereo so I didn't need anything out back but I believe they make some for the rear 6x9's as well.

I was really happy with these adapters too. I wasn't a fan of wood adapters (especially in the doors where they can get wet). They are definitely worth checking out.

http://www.car-speaker-adapters.com are fantastic. They take a little longer to get shipped, but they're PVC and won't need to be sealed like the ******** MDF adapters.

Or spend a tiny bit more to have a tested design with everything pre-drilled and exact fit holes, along with installation hardware shipped to your doorstep without having to own/find/borrow a jig saw, spend the time tracing, precision cut the adapter, and clean up.

There are some things worth doing yourself, and then there are times when $10 is worth less than the time it takes to DIY.

Use a dremel tool and cut the adapter off of the stock speakers. Works great!

2-3 weeks is about what I had to wait. Trust me when I say, they are worth it.

Just send a few emails asking for a status update.

You work for them or something? I don't know about the rear adapters but if they are as good as the front ones the best place for them is in the garbage that is where mine went. I ended up just using the factory ones.

Also they never responded to any inquiry I had by email or phone. So good luck with that.

The FARK harness is good and boxes are well constructed. Amp rack is decent also.

Nah, I was just was happy with the product I got. I wasn't happy with the time it took. But, after a few persistent emails I got the ball rolling enough so that the extra time to have something done custom was worth it so I didn't have to mess around with sealing up the MDF stuff from ********.

I'd say they have a lot to work at in terms of customer relations, but they do have a good end product.

Why did you throw the adapters in the garbage? They seemed pretty well put together. Also, there aren't factory adapters... unless you cannibalized the stock speakers.
