Nope, I read the same article that 2024 Camaro will be overpriced and the 2023 mustang will be 2hp slower. Sorry man, bad info you got there

Someone is always faster! Its like the fight game, you may think your a badass but you WILL run into someone that is badder or just having a better day. With the ZL1 coming out first, I would lay money on Ford making the 500 a lil bit faster. Remember that Ford got caught with its pants down with the SS hitting the market and lost alot of $ and previous Mustang owners (Me as one) They quickly revamped the 5.0 back in the car. Kind of like computers and t.v.s by the time you buy it and get it home, something better is on the market.

Thats why the GT500 was at the Nurburgring months ago, but never released the numbers.
In the next few months Ford will release a statement, and in that statement they will announce that the 2013 GT500 has run a faster lap time than the ZL1.
Probably not by very much, but I have money saying Ford is hiding in the bushes, just waiting to see what the Official ZL1 numbers are going to be, before finishing the 2013 GT500.

Well my guess is that you drive a 2013 GT500 in a race against a 2012 ZL1 you will lose. You're probably 40 lbs heavier than the average ZL1 driver, so there goes your perceived advantage.... Just sayin...
