Admas VS. Griots

So I know there a quite a few people on the board using Adams for their detailing needs. I had never heard of Adams until I joined Camaro5 but had heard of Griot's and wanted to get opinions on which is better. The people I know that use Griot's have very high end exotic cars and they swear by Griot's. I know its a personal choice but wanted to hear from my Camaro family so I can order some much needed detailing supplies.

Thanks,

Mike

My father is an Adams distributer, everyone in our Corvette club uses it. Adams was the official detailer of the Barret Jackson cars before they went on the auction block. Also, Jay Leno's personal detailer buys Adam's products... Its the best out there IMO

I've used Griot's for years on our cars and am very happy with the results and prices. Love the clay and wax, used it on our 90 Beretta Indy that we show and our 96 Collector Edition Corvette, used to use it on the 93 Z/28 we had for 17 yrs and was in perfect looking condition when we traded it for our 2010 SS.

I'm partial

But Griots offers a good product, you'll never see me bad mouth their product line.

Adam's offers a 110% guarantee on his products. No questions asked. If your not satisfied send 'em back for a refund and make a few bucks for trying them out.

Adam's isn't the only product on the market, but the only business owner I've ever had on the phone is Mr. Adam Pitale.

Sounds like the consensus is Adams. I have contacted them as I will need to start from scratch with their products.

Thanks for all the positive responses guys.

To the OP, theres absolutely nothing wrong with Griots, and as others have stated you will never hear us bad mouth the competition to get a 'leg up' in this scenario. Our products performance, our customer support, and 110% money back guarantee all speak for themselves. Mud slinging, false rumors, and baseless accusations is something some of our less reputable competitors will do to undermine our company. We simply refuse to engage in that type of behavior.

I also wouldn't vest much in the "a lot of exotic car owners use it" arguments. Heck... there are plenty of guys with rare and exotic cars that use absolute crap on their cars b/c they don't know any better. Proof? I fix a lot of them on the side and you'd be surprised how many high end car owners will use low quality stuff from the local pepboys, or even NOTHING to care for their cars. The type of cars a product is used on has very little to do with the quality of the product.... if a guy in a Lambo goes thru the McDonalds drivethru it doesn't mean they have the best burgers... ya catch my drift?

And if the types of vehicles a product was used on were any basis for measure, heres just a small sample of some of the vehicles I've personally worked on:

Ferrari 599GTB:

Porsche Carrera4S
Started with:

Finished with:

How about the worlds fastest (yes, that is a fact) Silverado SS:

The cover truck for this years issue of Truckin's Horsepower issue:

Dylan@Adams,

You make an excellent point. I will be contacting Adams next week to make my purchase. As all on the Camaro5 board I work hard for my money and want to make sure I am buying a quality product and have heard nothing but excellent reviews regarding Adams and Griots. After reading your contest post and seeing the results I am sold on your products. Looking forward to using your products and posting some pics.

Thanks
