Well that was short lived! Driving around today and the HUD is acting up again. I made a video this time to show how it's acting.
There is no pattern to this that I can see. It just fades out when it feels like it. In the video, once it fades out initially I start messing with the HUD control knob & button. No matter what I do it has a mind of its own. Could this be a battery or alternator issue? I do have an amp and a little extra lighting. I guess it's another trip to the dealer :(

Remote started the car today and no HUD

. Stopped and restarted, no HUD

. I just don't get it. Maybe it's the heat cause it's HOT?

I have had this happen 3 times. I have 2013 2SS RS convertible. I got the car Dec 18, 2013. It happened a few months after I had it but it only went off for like 5 seconds. Then a few months after that, it went out and came back on a few times while driving, then no problem. Then today it went out, then came back on about 20 minutes later, then it slowly dimmed and completely went out. I got home, parked, shut car off, then started it a few minutes later and it was back on. I guess I should probably take it in, it's not even 2 yrs old yet and only has 7400 miles on it.

I'd take it in if I were you. I had mine replaced once. Let us know what happens at the dealer.
