Customized doors
The first mod i make to my camaro will be throwing butterfly or gull wing doors on it. I want it to look as much like a transformer as i can.

I think the "gullwing" will be a very difficult MOD if there is no top frame on the doors like all the past Camaro's. The butterfly wings wont be that big of a deal. They have kits that don't involve much cutting and allow you to do "normal" door open/close or lift ou then up.
Here is one place that has a video of the automatic kind. http://www.thehoffmangroup.com/autol...inc=lambodoors Less than $1500 based on a 2002 Camaro Last edited by dayvedayve; 08-21-2008 at 08:28 PM. |

When they are done right they look cool. When you just add an extra set of hings so the door swings out, then up... thats just lame. |

OMG that is so cool, but I am betting the insurance companies would have a field day figuring out the extra cost you gonna pay for "Structual integrety" loss like when the 3rd doors came out on pickups.

normally i would be inclined to agree with you, except lambo doors can and do open straight out, then up or they can open straight up.
