I'd be up for a meeting, particularly Lincoln way, as I'm in Lincolnshire.(about 15 miles from W H Brands)
Don't own a stately home, but we do have a drive that can take 7 or 8 vehicles. If you just wanted an informal gathering, I'd be happy to be the "base", from which we could possibly convoy to Brands (assuming they'd open), and then perhaps have a drive to a local restaurant. We do also have enough space in the garden to break out the crisps and lemonade, and if it's raining, a cosy 4 car garage to shelter in.

I'm all up for meeting - great idea. Good to see all the owners and their cars! I'm about 2 hrs south of Lincolnshire, so can't suggest a meeting place up there, but will put the thinking cap on!

Thank you for the offer. How about Saturday 6th July 2013 ?
I'll phone WHB and see if they play Ball.
Is there an American Dinner nearby ? :-)

Phatz: 133.4 miles for me, so about the same commute :-O #whateva

Adam at W H Brand was talking about organizing a meet very recently. Not sure if he meant for Camaros or all Chevy's.

hey up Red,
Saturdays are a bit awkward for me as I work 6 days a week in our bakery business. I was hoping for a Sunday, but would accept the majority decision. That time frame of the 1st weekend in July is good though.
We do have an American themed diner near Boston, in fact it's where the American/classic car meets are held every Tuesday. Info here: http://www.withamandblues.com/witham/

I've been staying away from the boards lately, usually results in me spending money. This is a great idea! This island isn't big enough to discourage my attendance. Whenever and wherever, but the diner does look like a pretty cool place. In fact, think the next weekend I'm off will take the family up and probably hit up a castle or two in that area.

And Stray, I'm extremely jealous of that garage. I can't even pull the beast in mine.

Just had a look at the Diner web site, looks pretty good to me. Don't know how many might attend but if the owners knew they were gonna get some good business they'd probably allow the field at the end of the car park to be used for meeting up. Alternatively ....
if we wanted somewhere more central, I've got a field and could set up someone to do a BBQ etc. Wouldn't have the nice Diner though but an option (10 minutes from Jnct 20 M1 and 10 mins from Jnct 1 or 2 on the A14.

Car meets in fields are always a good thing. The BBQ sounds nice to me also, as long as the weather's playing ball. Are you anywhere near Melton Mowbray? That's a nice little excuse for a drive from our place.

No, further south than Melton. Between Market Harborough and Lutterworth. (In a field )
