Doesn't an 110. MPH equate to a mid 12. pass?

Though it may not be recommended every time, I can not believe that shifting without lifting is going to hurt anything on these cars, as long as it is not done continually. If it does, this will be the first GM manual tranny car that I have owned or driven that was damaged by doing this on occasion.

Yeah ...a 110 trap usually means a 12.4-12.5 1/4. That's quite impressive if the 1LE can do that.

Tire spin usually leads to a higher trap speed and an obviously lower ET. With that being said you can rarely use a trap speed to calculate ET due to how each is measured at the track. On that note how does Motor Trend run all kinds of 13's in SS's but 12.7 in a 1LE? Or should I say does all the 1LE stuff help or hinder like a few people think it does?

I know the ZL1 has it for sure, even the old Cobalt SS had it and the Solstice GXP etc. Many GM cars have this feature because it is no that hard to calibrate and you will not kill synchros is my understanding since it cuts spark but allows the RPM to stay higher for better power ONCE YOUR SHIFTING IS COMPLETE, meaning no synchro work.
I personally haven't tried it on mine but I did do launch control in it once.

I have checked a few places... pretty sure we do not have the no lift shift programing on the 1LE equipped SS.
