Best way to black out taillights?
What's the best way to black out my taillights? New lense cover? Black taillight decals? Plastidip? Price isn't a big deal, I just want something that'll look good and won't come off.

How well does plastidip hold up? Will it wear out quick or mess up when I wash it a few times?

Think he was talking about the Plasti Dip bezels.
They hold up great! Did mine about a year ago! Still looks fresh! But I've never seen tail lights dipped, but like he said, probably looks awful!

We always paint them using standard base/clear automotive paint. That will give you the longest lasting, best gloss finish that can be waxed and polished with the rest of the car. Sorry don't have a close up.

How much would it cost to paint? And where can I get that done?

Go with vinyl.
I had mine painted and the shop went too dark. Not a good thing.

No I'm pretty sure he meant plastidip tint. Why would he be asking about tinting lenses then just randomly ask about bezels?

Don't plastidip! That's not gonna look good at all IMO lol
I'd say go with vinyl or have them painted professionally. Especially if money is no object. Then add LEDs to your tail lights so you don't get any trouble from the Po-po Nick C.

I bought mine painted its awesome. I had it tint before but not happy I even order the crappy plastic cover from RPI but lasted only for 1 hour then tossed it to the trash due to poor quality and less light output. Do it right have it paint!
