straight line, you probably have him handily.

Don't even try to get on a twisty road, though....

Yeah straight line is all Camaro. Twisted are another story. The NSX is truly one of the few drivers cars that let's you explore the absolute limits of the chassis while feeling completely in control.

Technology marches forward. Just think of how things may change for the good in the next 10 years.

eh they were "supercars" only in looks/handling, if you ask me. Not even 300 crank hp in the highest power motor. Potential can be there if you want to seriously mod it, but in stock form, they were pretty slow. Figure in the manual trans, 290 crank hp equates to about 256-260 at the wheels. Put that in a 3000 lb car, and you've got a .086666 power:weight ratio.

Just for reference, our cars (stock - m6) claim 426 crank hp. That's ~365 at the wheels. Put that in our [overweight, but not obese] 3800 lb cars, and you get .0953 power:weight ratio. Good bit faster.

All that said, I'd snatch one of those bad boys up in a heartbeat if I could afford it. I bet they're fun as shit to drive

How is a car that can do 0 to 60 in 4.7 or 4.8 like a 98 NSX considerd slow? I don't get where people come from these days yes its slow compared to a viper or corvette but it would still hang with a 5th gen Camaro ss so is a Camaro ss slow?

A co-worker of my wife had a 98 with a little work done to it and I had so much fun running that car a few times merging onto the highway back in the day with my pullied, full exhaust, and tuned 02 Lightning. I almost felt bad that my truck was putting a serious beating on that gorgeous car.

I personally think the first generation NSX is about one of the sexiest cars produced in the last 25 years

Best I ever ran was a 12.4 @109 and with drag radials I was able to consistently run 4.5 to 4.7 0-60. Not to shabby for a 4,800lb truck.

I should've never sold that truck but I was running out of garage space.
