Picked mine up yesterday afternoon...was told 3 flushes, new TSB # done with Mobil 1 synthetic fluid. Reprogrammed the TCM again. Drove it home yesterday, drove like a different car! No shudder, no hesitation, shifted from P to D or P to R with no hard jerks, car drove awesome! Went home and plugged my Range back in, so hoping that with the fluid, the TCM reprogram again, and the Range I will be good for at least for quite a while. Didn't drive it again, today crappy rainy weather here today.

My does 35,000 miles. Has triple flush. Over 200 miles it came back even worse. Took it back today and what I have been told

Here the message from service

"" Hi Michael, its Jeff from Lynch. Getting back to you about the camaro, Tech took veh for a ride. What you are getting is exhaust drone feeling from 6 to 4 cylinder. normal of veh to do this. No other repairs needed. The car is ready to be picked up. We are here til 6 in the service drive. ""

I dont believe them taking to another dealership for 2nd opinion and see what they say.

Hope the best for all A8 owners. GM has burned so many buyers.

Just wonder if and when GM started putting the new tranny fluid in the A8s GM is currently selling? The trucks and Subs come to mind. One Cannot get the A10 in a truck or sub unless you go to the higher trim levels and 6.2.

I'm going on flush number three. The last one was done in October and with just 5K on the car since the flush I notice that rumble again on the way to the airport this morning. Pretty bad this time, can get it to do it quite easily. Hope that three times is a charm or it'll be traded in on something other than a GM product. I just can't reward them for doing this to sooooo many people.

I agree, not to sure I want to continue GM. GM has 'seriously' burned me on my last two gm rides. They r 20 yrs apart. Meanwhile the 15 yr old Accord and TSX have been warriors. Knock on wood wood….. priced a v6 Camaro, but stopped when I saw the A8. SS A10 just maybe if I get over GMs issues. DFM, who knows how that will play out. Gm sure does not know. Like when they started AFM in '07. it took GM five model years to get it 'Half' right and still issues after 75,000 miles. But like you, tired of GMs buyer/owner field testing.

Is this still a problem with new vehicles? I have a Camaro on the way and need to know if this is still an issue or if they've fixed it by now.

Finding a V-6 M6 is difficult. The dealer I purchased from had 1. No dealers in my area had any. The A8 issue is the reason I chose the M6. I feel so bad for all these owns on many levels.
