In this case what I hear is an IC chip for the BCM that comes from Japan is faulty and when you really get on the car at higher loads the BCM is not commanding the ETBCM correctly.

I find this very interesting. Is the BCM an ASIC? I would assume, but it could also be an off the shelf IC. What i find confusing, in eiother case, is a manufaturing defect with todays manufacturing technology. I guess it would be more believable if it is an ASIC, but it would seem it is an intermittent problem and would seem s/w related. I may be totaly off base and will just wait for an official GM press realese. Thanks for the post, got the ole brain thinking.
