I guess maybe I’m a little different than some. I like Brian, wanted an ABM. It took me a while to find the right one. I wanted an M6 but the more I started looking for the right car the more my wife was starting to get excited about getting one.( way more than I thought she would) I settled for the car I got not only because it is a clean, pretty low mile 2SS/RS ABM but because my wife can’t drive an M6. 2SS/RS was mandatory for me. All that said rather than a ZL1 my absolute Dream 5th gen is a Z28. Follewed closely by my car.

I love my SS. I would have no doubt purchased ZL1 if my budget at the time had allowed, but I really wanted a new SS with the LS3 engine.
My only requirements were: Ashen Gray Color LS3 with 6 speed Manual RS package No Sunroof. They had a couple ashen gray 6 speeds in Michigan at the time but they had sunroofs. They did a dealer trade as they found my car in Indiana new at another dealer. Been all smiles and great times ever since Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I am not a big fan of just a regular SS, love the 1le. I went from a G8 GT to a 2013 1le. Now on my 2nd 1le, moved up to the 2015 with Recaros. I like NA over FI, my dream Camaro would a 2SS Z28.

Like a few others mine had to be a V8 with a manual. Red with black stripes was the goal but I was looking at ordering a 1SS with minimal options to keep the price down so I was willing to go without the stripes. Turns out my local dealer had just what I wanted in 2SS trim including the stripes. It had been on the lot for over a year and they had it discounted so that's what I bought in February 2012.
I still wish they had offered the LS7 in SS trim. |

Owned my '10 SS/RS for 10 years - don't need any different model.
Massaged my car into what I want for options/performance. |

Love my 2SS but if I could do it all again and had psychic abilities, I would have not gotten the L99/A6.
I drive 100% in TapShift and long for a manual, but I am at 150k miles and have lost so much resale value. Besides, I am now too emotionally attached to this car. So I will just buy another Camaro when I can afford it.
