For me I have 3 inch inlets, and idealy need tips that support that.

Also, 4" can fit with the ZL1 diffuser, Ofer sent me a pic of a guy with 4", and there looks to be enough room for the shields, I think I coult fit a finger all the way around.

hey twentytwelvebee, what size outlets are you using for your quad tips? Everyone says 4 inches but because of the heat shields idk if I should get 3.5 or 4 inch.

So it looks like the heat shields dont really take up any room inside where the tips will go.
