Sounds good, was there any tuning done (needed?) or were both runs on stock tuning?

Trying to get Dyno tuned at Jannety Racing within the next 2 weeks

The Stock manifolds can't be that bad.

Something sounds off here, Not knocking DT, they make nice stuff, although it is mild steel with Ceramic coating, rust is inevitable.

We need more info here, weather conditions on before and after test, water temps air temps tuned or stock cold air kit or stock, miles broke in or not.

Please don't be offended, when you post numbers like this they need to be accurate and believable, not the highest against the lowest.

I got these numbers from DT - I am going to see you guys for Dyno Day and have you do a Dyno tune.

I do not know the specifics..

Thumbs up

Not too bad for shorties.
Now all you need is a cold air intake & if possible, the complete exhaust from the headers back & then a tune and you'd be good to go!!
Are those headers 50 state legal to pass inspections? I assume they are because they are shorties.

I'm ordering them at the discounted price they are offering. I figure if they don't perform as advertised, I will be able to sell them without a loss.

I think the stock manifolds can be that restrictive. Look at what aftermarket intakes are producing on this car. Not to mention the fact that GMPP will be offering their own version of shorties.

Who knows, I am looking to not worry about emissions and potentially creating a problem with my dealer (who knows if these will or not, I'll discuss it with them prior to install). I've been down the emissions road in this state before and it isn't fun.

Maybe i'm getting old and boring.

Well hell, they better have a carb sticker. I would think the only people that would buy shortie are ones that live somewhere where longtubes are illegal.

well im sure this is what this is geared towards. Its very impressive gains for a shorties. I would like to see another dyno proving these gains.

If the gains are real I hope they come out with long tubes becuase the curves in these bent pipes must be laced with magic....

Yes, they are supposed to be C.A.R.B. compliant. (becuase I have asked the same question)

go the the vendors section of the forum. There is a thread there called Doug Thorley headers, where you can get them for less than $600. You have to read thru it, but I believe it says that at the end.
