Need your help!

I ordered my camaro on May 15th, from a dealership 6 hours away because the guy told me he still had spots in his first allocation. When I called last week to ask my salesman the status on my order, he tells me it's in production. I checked my order on the new tracking thread yesterday and found out that I am still at 1100. I know that there are people that have been waiting longer than me, but the guy told me he had spots open, and I see people that ordered after I did and are already at 3400 or farther. Do you guys have any suggestions? Should I start looking for another dealership, or stick it out and hope that my order does gets pulled soon.

PS: If you think I should start looking elsewhere, does anyone know if there are any dealerships in or around Louisiana that do have allocations open at msrp?

What part of Louisiana would you most want to try or be closer for you?

I would confont the dealer and ask whats up. Tell him you have a friend that works for a dealer and he ran your workbench number and it said it was at 1100. If he says otherwise tell him you want to see him run the workbench number on his computer and to give you a print out.

If he refuses any of those things get your deposit back and go to another dealer. This isn't Leson Chevrolet is it?

I live in Alexandria, ordered from a dealership in Texas. Anywhere in the state or bordering states is fine with me.

I would have somebody on here check it again. I dont see why your dealer would say its being built when it wasnt. But the cars seem to be going faster now and the system does sometimes lag behind. Even if you find another dealer that has an allocation NOW you still will wait probably 4 weeks. Probably better off stopping in or calling your dealer and asking him to send you your workbench
