you may encounter higher Idle RPM's for the first 30 miles or so, normal behavior.

1. When removing the 4 bolts, I like to crack all 4 bolts in a "X" pattern. Then remove them.

2. When putting them back on, same thing tighten them in a "X" pattern a little bit at a time until they are snug. Then tighten them up in a "X" pattern. "X" pattern prevents it from warping.

3. Recheck the torc of the four bolts in about 1,000 miles.

4. I like to put the Dielectric grease on the female end of the plug. Put a little on your finger tip and fill in the holes where the male part of the plug goes in. That is what they do in the factory on all the electrical connectors.

Do NOT over tighten the bolts, it just needs to be slightly snug.

I had some idle issues after installing the VMAX ported TB, but the PCM adjusted itself after a few hundred miles.

As far as the install, it's a straightforward job, nothing fancy.

Now install a Vitesse throttle body control, last year I installed a TB control.I'm running mine on 7 right now and let me tell you it's real touchy,no hesitation at all RPM's rocket up there you'll love it. Fairly easy to install, fastastic results. This year I had 3.91 gears installed, I have to learn to shift sooner & faster.

Torque is 89 Inch pounds. As stated above tighten in an X pattern using several passes to reach max torque.
