I am getting mine for a little less than that...just be aware that it may include various rebates and incentives that you may not qualify for.

Also, that dealer has some pretty bad reviews...

I am very excited to get an SS 1le in the spring. I think in 5-6 months, they will be close to 20% off. Hesitant to pull the trigger on one when considering the depreciate of the 5th gen.

Doubtful you will see them at 20% off as they don't have large allocations and will be much more rare than a regular SS.

Since this is an option package and not a separate trim level, some dealers discount these like a regular SS.

This ^^^^, I didn't get 20% off but it was plenty for me to pull the trigger now. If you have the patience, wait but I'd say it's still a steal at $42k compared to similar cars with dealer markup of $5k-10k!

FWIW, I tend to agree with SS 1LE here. The lack of a high volume of inventory on a unique package will prompt dealers to hold firm on pricing.

You won't see large a large amount of dealer stock on the 1LE, and many will be customers orders.

Discounts, but I doubt you'll see much 20%. We'll see how it plays out.

I know I won't be waiting.

LOL these will be mid-high 30's by spring........There is a new 2SS on my way home that went like this: 6K off, 8K off, 10K off, 12k off and today 14k off....28,900 for a NEW 2ss SMH @ the depreciation. It's pretty simple, if you are buying the new 1LE to KEEP, who cares....BUT if you are financing for 5-7 years AND you trade cars often, the BIG OUCH IS going to happen.

What dealership? I'll have to see that deep of a discount myself. Even at 56k, 14k off would be 25%. I don't see that happening. That price is a 33% discount.

Sure they will. Just like any other cars, some dealers will have quite a few of them. I still have 10 more coming and plan on ordering more. If GM offers the 20% off again, there will be 1LEs out there that will be eligible.
