true, but think of it this way, if the viper didn't have all that raw power, and snake-like charm, would it still be a Viper, technically yes, but it wouldn't be the same. But I do agree, a base version, maybe a ramped up 360 cubic inch engine with 385 horses,or something tike that... although, dodge did have a concept car that was supposed to be the Viper's little brother, they called it the "Copperhead", I'll try to find a pic...

I never cared for the Copperhead.
But I thought the Razor was pretty cool looking. |

the razor does look kinda cool, but i think it also looks like a cross breed between the Toyota MR-S Spyder's front end, and the back of an Audi TT

I agree, but could you imagine that car with the motor from an SRT4 and a roadster version. It would of made some great competition for the Solstice.

very true, an SRT4 with the stage 3 turbo system, will push about 365 horses... but we are getting a little bit off topic... lol

Hmmmm now to me that looks more along the lines of an old Porsche drawing someone gave away, because to me it looks like a Porsche

I cant believe this, in 1999 there was a Viper WAGON concept... there was a quote with the picture... "Big and safe for mom, sporty for dad" no, there's no way anyone in their right mind would desecrate a Viper by making a damn wagon out of it...

And we all saw how that went. A modern wagon is probably best based on a mid-size FWD platform. So a Malibu, Aura, or Lacrosse wagon would make a lot of sense. GM did the right thing by not importing a G8 Sportwagon (in my opinion) but they would do well to bring out a wagon based on one of the cars I listed above. |

No way should there be a Viper Wagon... that car would cost over $100,000, there's so much more work involved...

They just reported on Fast Lane Daily that the Viper isn't going anywhere.
