Man that's cool to see that thing attacking the ring like that. We do a lot of testing on the Nürburgring, actually have some time scheduled next week there. Can't wait to see a laptime. Hopefully we'll get Pfadt's Ring Spec Camaro over there soon!

I think a lot of the screeching was the porsche behind. There were several straights where one would not expect the screeching to be from the ZL1 and I think it's the trailing yellow midge.

As much as I would wish the same, beating the GTR is not happening. She has run a 7.21 time which is up there with the fastest cars in the world, period!

The M3 however will be easy, the CTS-V already beat her, and with the better tires, updated magnetic ride and more power there should be no reason the ZL1 won't be faster. My prediction is a mid 7.4X time!

Regarding the tire squealing, ANY street tire, regardless of size is going to sound like that on track. She is still a heavy car, and those tires are hurtin' and it also depends on the surface, the Ring is full of old asphalt, new asphalt, concrete etc and the noise changes depending on what you are currently on. Also with all the elevations the sound travels in very odd ways at that track. In the house we usually stay at when I am there driving, you can't hear squat from the track even though is it 50ft away! But from my buddy's house across the street is like having the couch on pit lane
