LS vs 1LT and RS halos vs eagle eyes?
I have quite a few questions lighting with these:
What do I need to install RS headlights? What do I need to install Eagle Eyes headlights? What is price difference once everything install between Eagle eyes and Rs headlights? Will these install in a LS? Will these install in a 1LT? I tried searching but couldn't find the answers I used Google and Camaro5 Last edited by Synerbee; 10-24-2010 at 09:57 PM. |

I don't think you searched far back enough...
1. An adaptor. 2. Nothing. The eagle eyes are plug and play. 3. Let's see, about $800 for used rs lamps. $480 for eagle eyes and an aftermarket hid kit. The eagle eyes are halogen not hid. 4. Eagle eyes will install on any non rs trim level Camaro. Hope that helps. |

i have the eagle eyes on mine. i put in 100w halogen bulbs in them to. had to buy a new wire harness for the 100w bulb. i think about 440 in all and i was able to sell my stock lights. me and a friend did the install ourself in about 2 hours. they are great! never had anyone tell me they look different.

Just curious, so if you had to buy a wire harness anyway, why not get HIDs?

I just finished my non-RS to RS OEM HID w/Halo's upgrade, Purchase a set of OEM HID w/Halo's. Then I purchased the wiring harness from Todd over at ottobody. Everything hooked up and works perfectly.

I'd be worried about those 100watt bulbs. I remember before hid, I would buy those, and the harnesses would always melt. This was a few years ago tho, I don't know know about now.
