Videos are great for a quick look, but there is NOTHING like a book. Yesterday I pulled out my Camaro book and re-read many sections. A book is forever.

We know the passion and dedication of the Fbodfather, but this book also shows the enthusiasm of the entire team. We can only imagine what was not included in the book.

I first saw the concept camaros at the GM Carlisle Pa tent in 2007. Take a look at the photo on page 63 (lower right corner). It's the concept in it true form WITHOUT the "B pillar", being driven by Rick Wagoner.
It's the only photo I've ever seen of a 5th gen with all the side windows down.... probably for a good reason.
So much style/beauty was lost when they added that center post making our cars coupes instead of true hardtops imo.... Another reason to buy the book.

They are very proud of this car!

And proud they should be!

This car is proof positive that GM can keep up with the best of them. Who would have known that the process was that long or complicated.

Way to go GM!!!!

Related to this is a 1 hour documentary on the Natiional Geographic channel last week about Ultimate Factories. They show the building of different cars during each documentary such as the Challenger, Ferrari and of course the best one, our wonderful Camaros. They were good shows and can be bought from NG.

That's where I saw this display too. The GM provings grounds was an awesome place to see this display and the concepts cars etc. I talked to Todd Storrs there. Still seems enthusiastic about the car.
