[Not an Ad.] Just found the BEST/MOST FIT cellphone mount for our cars!!!

So here is my story, after my on-star free service expired (turn-by-turn navigation no longer available). I have been looking for a cellphone mount for navigation. Since I cant afford the navigation mylink upgrade, which is 500$ bucks!! . I decided to purchase a cellphone mount and use my phone for navigation.

( I gave up GARMING cuz is just TOO BIG and TOO SLOW)

Anyway, I decided to buy a vent mount because the traditional one that goes on the dashboard or window will affect the vision, and we know that our Camaro's windows are sooooo SMALL~~

Anyway, this was my first purchase:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

This one did not work, because of two reason: the stuff that grab/connect to the vent is too short, our Camaro capacity on the vent area is just too narrow and small. And second, my phone is too big. (SONY Z2, little smaller than the iphone 6 plus).

I almost gave up cuz the only design I found on internet is either similar to this one, or the magnetic one. I did not consider the magnetic one as people says that it will affect the connection between bluetooth, signal and etc..

Not until I found this one with different design and great price:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Yep, this is the perfect car mount for our car. Just received today and figure to share with you guys who are looking for a cellphone mount like me. It fits any size phone, it is very steady, and you can change the angle of the phone as well. The only concern I have is that if you use the phone VERTICAL, it might drop as there is nothing holding the phone on the bottom. Here are some pics with this car mount in my car.

Hopefully this help and you guys will like it the same way I like it.

I tried a vent mounted on in my Charger I traded for the Camaro... worked great at first, but then I had issues with it drooping the vent, or breaking the vent fins off of the back of the vent assembly. Popped back in, but it was a PITA after that.

Thanks for sharing though... Keep us posted if it holds up well.

I like this one. I have a spare HTC One that I use for Torque app, and this fits perfectly next to the A-pillar and puts the phone just on the top left of the speedo. Don't really even have to take my eyes off the road to see the display on the phone.

It's durable as hell, and that suction cup is serious. Not sure I'd put a gopro on it outside the car, but for the purpose of holding a phone, it does a damn fine job, and no issues at all in the time I've had it (5 months?)

Not saying yours is bad, but just putting my .02 in

Just upload more pics on how it tied to the vent. There is a spring clip that you put it behind the vent.

I am not sure whether it will break the vent fins off, but common sense is telling me it wont based on the way how it connects to the vent, and the other two "legs" supporting on the bottom. Therefore, it wont drop the vent at all, just tried it on a 20mins drive while picking my sister up. Great so far.

Mine come with a suction one as well, is a 2-1 cellphone mount for only 20$ from Amazon. I haven't tried the suction one cuz i am worried it can affect my sight on the road.

I am installing a ProClip mount this weekend. They have vent options, but I went with a mount just to the right of the gearbox. I love the location and the product.

They are a bit more expensive, but custom fit for every car and great quality. This will be the fourth car I've installed a ProClip mount in.

(this is a stock photo, not an actual shot of my Camaro).

Off topic. Where did you get that emblem cover for your steering wheel?
