Saw a report last weekend about how thieves love push button start because so many people leave the fob inside their unlocked car .

Thats not my view. There is a problem with the location of the ignition. Im over 6 foot tall. And my knee will hit the key and possible cause it to turn to the OFF position while driving causing a guaranteed accident. Fixing the key is a temp fix and a shitty one at that. They should be recalling us and installing a new ignition that wont turn off by the hit of a knee...

How tall are you? I'm 6'-4" and its impossible for me to hit the key accidentally or on purpose.

Only 6 foot 1. For me, In my comfortable driving position, when I've had to slam on the brakes my knee has the bottom of ignitiom/key quite hard. I realize this is a very rare and unlikely situation, but this is just how I feel about it. 30k car. $100 (s) fix.

I find it funny that no one new about this or even cared until gm got you all worked up this summer. As for a push button. You will never get something for nothing.
