Mines had the same symptoms!

I actually bought a new 2015 2LT Jan 31st, and then took it into the dealership a few weeks later to get the Ambient Lighting package installed. Sure enough, on my way home from that, got the reduced power warning and StabiliTek message. Took it back to the dealer right then, they ran some tests and said it was a 'glitch'... Some 'glitch' on a new 21 day old car I thought Anyways, they said it should not happen again and they cleared the CEL. Now, one week later... same thing- Reduced Power Mode & Stabilitek message . No idea what's going on, but will be taking it to the dealer and hopefully they fix it for good this time. Barely have 600 miles on the car

My car is doing the same thing when it is cold. It feels like there is a misfire. If I floor the pedal it will sputter and then catch and shoot like a rocket. The service Stabilititrack light comes on. Almost like I hit a NOS button which I do not have. After about 15 minutes of running the car does fine. I am taking it in to get tuned soon and hopefully this will fix the issue.

Hey I've seen a few posts like this lately and I looked it up. Many GM owners that had this issue said it was their Throttle Position Sensor that went bad and needed to be replaced...

When I installed the Vitesse Throttle controller I got he reduced engine power issue as well.

I recalibrated it and it went away. If you don't do the calibration perfectly the reduced engine power thing can happen. Just my 2 cents

Could be what's causing it for you. Idk much about it, I just noticed of all the cases I read about, I'd say at least 70% of them said the TPS was what caused it.

Is there an easy way to recalibrate the sensor or did you reset the Vitesse throttle controller

I just reset the throttle controller recalibrated it. Works great for a minute and then the problems start again. As you move through 0-9 the problem increases and decreases. I believe this is the problem now. I will have to mess with it more tomorrow.

What kind of problem increases & decreases as you go thru the 0-9 settings?

If the setting is at 0, it takes about 4-5 seconds after I hit the gas to break out of the rough driving. If I have it at 9, it only takes a second or two.

I would remove it and see if the problem goes away. If it does you may have a bad unit.

Negative.

Replaced the battery, and that helped with my hard start I was having on cold days.

Thought all was good then it came back randomly a few days later. It will come on randomly, then after a cool down cycle it is fine. Then 3-5 key cycles later the CEL goes away. Can't seem to find a rhyme or reason for it without pulling the code history, so I'm going to take it to Parkway Chevy.

Just got done doing that. It wasn't as bad or noticeable but still doing it. I think it may be a bad TPS but the car just 20,000 miles. Hopefully it's not to hard to replace. I'm guessing it's under the dash connected to the gas pedal.
