note: i am not great w/ pc's i'm doing my best...
play 1st video-silver ss being unloaded from a truck..when thats done pick video #6 its a 94' z28 followed by a 97'Z28 FOLLOWED BY A 2000 ss followde by a 2010 ss revving their engines all out 1 at a time...the 2010 clearly is the loudest and meanest sounding 1...if the ss is quiet now then they used a better exhaust on this pre-production car thats all i can say b/c this car is loud!!

check this video out now b/c it does not stay on this site for long...#6

The silver SS is the concept car. Completely different engine and exhaust.

SS Concept sounds better then the Production version.... little after market exhaust and it'll sound meaner..

Government decibel requirements on production cars is why they would go backwards instead of forward regarding the sound, that is why the production cars are a bit quieter.

So, what would it take to make our production LS3's sound like this?

Let me school you guys on concept cars from my days in Auto industry and marketing.

The concept is expensive and has all upgrades to entice you to buy even though the production is completely different. Camaro not completely different for sure.

Here's a better example to explain. Look at Scion. It makes a bunch of visual and performance promises at the cars shows and in commercials, but falls seriously short at production. They promise individuality in your car, but they give the same options as any other car maker would.

Concepts make a special plea to all buyers, but you have to pay top price to get close to the concept. Body kit and 21" wheels are example.

Here's is another good example. The Volt. It was awesome at the past car shows. It was so futuristic, yet it looks like a Malibu now. People who fell in love with the concept will buy the totally different production model while thinking they got close to the concept. Its very tricky psychology.

Remember, not all do this. Its like selling sex. Sell it to everyone, but not everyone gets to take part unless you pay the price.

Selling the lie. Gotta love it.
