drop springs or trailing arms

Foundation will be set in regards to cradle and radius bushings but I have an autocross event June 18th and would like some opinions on wether to get drop springs or trailing arms? I can only get one or the other unfortunately right now so what do you think will be better for me or should I say, what would benefit me the most in the autocross?

Besides intake and shorty shifter and soon to be the foundation, the car is stock.

LS3

Thanks for the help!

IMO I would put the springs in since you have already fixed the bushings on the cradle and raduis arm bushings.

For immediate benefits for Autox I would suggest sways rather than drop springs. There will be an increase in wheel rates with an increase in spring rate and the lower center of gravity is nice... but the biggest bang for the buck and biggest change in the balance of the car will come with Sways.

Sway bars certainly make the car a lot more fun to drive, especially at the Autox!

Foundational bushes, damping, coil or coilovers and sway bars as the final tuning element is our philosophy on suspension builds. We believe in it and follow it with good results. That doesn't make others wrong. It just makes Pedders, well Pedders.

+1 Of the two options you presented I would choose springs, but I think sways would be of a greater benefit for your autoX.
