I know this isn't an apples to apples comparison but I had a turbo charged mustang that was doing the same thing and it ended up that one of my fuel pumps was dead. So at normal driving and idle it seemed to do fine but at higher load it would pop and break up because of lack of fuel. Took out 7 out of 8 pistons in the process. If your compression is good and you verify that its not a coil pack or wire, Id check to make sure fuel pressure isn't dropping/AFR going high in the upper rpm range. Just something to think about

It is obviously not at that power level with the power loss and stumbling it is doing right now, there is a A/F boost gauge that I monitor I have never seen more than 10lbs before the power loss stumble with or without the meth ... we also have the tune turned way down

not making full pulls on it without the meth of course... just have it turned off while figuring out what is causing the issue

for the fuel pump question .... my A/F stays where we want it with the fairly convervative settings we have right now and doesnt do anything alarming when it happens just all good and then starts stumbling

On the injector size I am actually not completely sure I would have to check to see what ECS put in when they built it, should be fine though and it didnt look like we were maxing out duty cycles or anything while working on the tune

At minimum, your injector size should be 850cc. Anything less than that, then that is most likely where your problem would be. At 792 though, you should already have those injectors, but there's always the possibility that the seller may have kept them.

If it still has a base ECS tune, more than likely it had a safety built in for the meth. Most likely tied into the IAT table's.

Yup...if it does the ecs tune trick and the iat doesn't fall like when spraying meth, it has fail safe built into the tune. Turn the meth back on and try again.

I know that it is still in place since you're running 10 lbs of boost. When it comes out, it'll push you up to 15 lbs. The extra air might be what you need. If you wanna come down in boost, assuming that is the problem, look into either a smaller crank, or a bigger blower pulley.
What restrictor plate?

When you buy a base ECS kit, the blower has a restrictor plate on it. It reduces the amount of air allowed to be introduced to the system. You can look at it as being equivalent to a pulley. They run the smallest pulley on the blower, which is capable of 15 lbs, however, you put your engine at risk, especially when you don't have supporting mods. So instead of a pulley up, the restrictor plate is put in that acts as though there's a bigger pulley.

Maggie doesn't use one. ECS kit has a restrictor plate, maggie just has a restrictive manifold.

You would find the restrictor plate in the air filter. The older styles had the plate on the inside ridge of the filter. The new ones is like a coupling in the inlet of the blower.

As Ted@JRE mentioned earlier, might want to check the grounds, in particular, the grounds for the coil packs, which are located on the back side of each cylinder head. They are secured by a 12mm (iirc) bolt. Good luck with the troubleshooting!

Was going to do some looking this past weekend but my dad came up on short notice and we hung out most of the day saturday and went to a football game. Then on Sunday it started snowing and never got above 25 degrees so kinda took the motivation out of doing it then. Weather is supposed to be pretty nice this coming weekend so will do some more then.

also going to check the catalytic converters ... was hearing some noise in the exhaust the last time I drove it and everything looked good and tight so could be possible the cats are coming apart and are blocking the exhaust
