I think gas really took a jump when Katrina ripped thru the gulf and tore up Louisiana.Then we had the gulf oil disaster top that with a war in the middle east and were paying to play.had just went up 3 cents since yesterday because we have a tropical system that might hit Florida.Gas always jumps when someone says hurricane.

Your math is off a touch. It'd be 6.75/G at 4.54L (UK Gal).
$1.51/L (premium) * 3.78 (US Gal) = $5.71 (and I won't split hairs on the exchange since it's almost par right now!). But whatever. It blows.
