I have driven both and I would say that this is a good depiction of both cars.

Also having been lucky enough to sample both I'd like to chime in as another who likes both. If I was told I could have one, but only one free of charge I honestly would have a hard time choosing and after having done so would probably question my choice. The real winners are those that can afford and house both. Lucky B******s!

I agree, good article and review... makes it even harder to decide between the two especially for those that like both marques.

Every now & then I think of whether to pull the trigger or not, but that would mean I would have to give up one of my current rides. Boss for the GT500? Or SS for the ZL-1? Now that I read what I wrote, having a Boss and a ZL-1 isn't bad at all. My prob is I can only 'house' one since I currently have a one-car garage. A good problem for a b***h or a f****r, I guess.

My dream garage=my black ZL1, a red GT500 with white stripes and Recaro seats and a Chevy Avalanche LTZ. I'm all American baby!

I like the raw power of the Shelby but not crazy about the overall looks of the car. Everyone is different and likes different things in a car. They're both nice but I'm happy with my ashen gray Z!
