Maybe he was trying to say he preferred the Gen5 over the Gen6 model.

He asked what I had and I told him it was the 14, then he proceeded to tell me how the 15's were better.

Lets be serious. If every car that was 3 mph over got pulled over then 95% of the cars on the road right now would be getting a ticket. There are more important things LEOs should be doing then harassing someone for being 3 mph over.

I always use my cruise control and always set it to 3 over. Everyday I always get people flying by me, because I'm not going fast enough. And I've never been harassed for going 3 over. But I guess I technically I was speeding, so it was a reason to pull me over.

If it was at night they probably just didn't have anything to do and wanted to ask about your car, that's happened to me before. At the end of the day as long as they weren't dicks to you and you didn't get a ticket, who cares?
