Thanks, I’ve always had pretty good luck with GM’s. The Canyon I got last year is having some potentially major transmission issues with only 5000 miles that the dealer says is “normal,” but I’m working on that.

A6 Colorado gear hunting? Harsh shifts? Known issue.

And working a lot. I know that one all to well.

That is an issue but this is something worse. At times the transmission will act like it is going into neutral when trying to accelerate. The RPM’s jump up until it eventually catches the gear and off you go. It’s a safety issue because it’s happened both when pulling out into traffic and when accelerating after slowing down in traffic as faster vehicles were approaching. Already had it to the dealer once and they said it’s normal. I’d venture to guess it didn’t do that and they thought my complaint was the gear hunting.

Damn that sucks. That is dangerous. Hope it can be duplicated again and fixed.

Congrats! Them Z06's are sweet! As for me time for some new tires. Got about 25K miles on the original Goodyear Eagle F1's and they are now at the wear bars. Decided to go with all seasons and ordered some Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06. The car hydroplanes a lot when I drive in the rain which made me a little worried driving in wet weather. Anyone else swapped their tires already and what did you pick?

Thanks. 25K seems like pretty good tire life to me. Mine had 6K when I traded it and the rears seemed borderline to me. I’m not sure why, I don’t do donuts or anything, just one track day (road course)

I am approaching the 25K mark and seeing that tires are in the not-too-distant future.

I really liked the tires when they were new, but the more they wear, the less grip they have. I really wanted to stay with a run flat since most of my miles are road trip miles. I don't want to be in the middle of nowhere with a flat and no spare. I would rather limp to the nearest town.

I just can't find a run flat with good ratings. I wish the Michelin Pilot Sport was a run flat.
