My son was driving yesterday and stopped at a stop sign and some guy in a Arcadia behind us yelled get on it. Cars got a 100 miles on it, so my son knew the answer.

I've gotten many looks and smiles and occasionally people will ask what year and tell me nice car. I've had a couple Mustang owners ask about it as well in a respectful car enthusiast manner, lol. I've also had two Mustang owners drive like idiots trying to "race" me in traffic. One guy actually went out of his way to do so. All I could do was shake my head and laugh at him.

Was getting XPEL done on my Blackout out 2SS and when I went to pick the car up a few days later the shop owner had a 16 Red Mustang in the same garage. I guess the Mustang owner told the shop owner he really loved my Camaro!!

Nothing but compliments. Was at a Chevy dealership 2 days ago getting the black bowties installed (purchase dealer forgot them). They had a blue / black 2SS pulled in next to mine and were drooling all over my car. Went to my daughter's softball game last week and as I was leaving a teen girl said "Mister, you have a very, VERY nice car!" Lol, lot's of young guns in their older camaros driving along side of me and staring. Lot's of thumbs up signs. The funny thing is all the mustang drivers flat out ignore me. Guess I'd be ashamed too...

That's funny, because I had mine in the shop getting Expel applied a couple weeks ago. When I went in to pick it up the owner told me it's been nice having it in the shop. When I asked why he said because it's gotten a lot of attention while it's been there. He gave me his card that had a late model Mustang on it and said he's thinking about changing the picture on his cards to my car if it's okay. Oh, by the way, he had several Porches in his shop at the same time and the Camaro drew all the interest. A couple of the young guys working there walked outside when my wife was driving it away and watched until it disappeared around the corner.

From my experience, Ford lovers generally go out of their way to bash Camaros. Like their out to prove Fords are better. I usually just let them run their mouth without responding at all.

Only took delivery a few days ago, but so far mostly positive feedback-- tons of younger guys have gone out of their way to approach me about it (positive remarks). The only bad experience so far has been some idiot intentionally cutting me off in a school zone in a beat up old mustang.

Mostly good but I've had coworkers tell me it's a chick car, other buddies say they would have kept the Vette, and every car salesman I dealt with asked "why on earth would you trade a Vette for a camaro?".........progress......that's my best answer. Plus the note was virtually the same ($5/mo more the camaro) for a 7 year newer car with more functionality, features, and almost the same in every performance metric

I received a couple of compliments just this week. I was stepping out of my car in a parking lot and a random person said nice car man...what kind of car is it? I was kinda shocked he didn't recognize it, and replied it...thanks it is the new 2016 Camaro SS.

The other compliment I received this week was from a gate guard at the base I am stationed at. He just said...nice car Sergeant...I love the looks of the new Camaro. A lot of stares as usual this week also. Hopefully I start seeing more 6th gen's around though...I am the only one with one on base.
