Taking a lot of intestinal fortitude for me to stay out

BOOM...or is it *thud*, the sound of jaws dropping from the unveil of the Z/28. All the years of speculation now reduced to waiting with anticipation of further news and info on this conquering American roadcourse beast.

It's like finally reaching a goal, savoring it and then ...at that moment you say to yourself... "Ok, now what?"

My question is, will GM legitimize the release of this hallowed car by entering back into sanctioned races as they did back in the late '60's? or will they just let the consumer be the one to prove it's roadcourse manners?

I would love for GM to pick up Stevenson Motorsports and make them a factory ride. Z/28 in the new United SportsCar racing series FTW!

I'm not sure if Becky is still tracking production or not... you may want to check with her.

Edit: Looks like she is still tracking orders...

They went through the trouble of SCCA certification for the 1LE. Don't see why they wouldn't do it for the Z28.

Likely the car the show car was made from. Somebody check that bin code and see what engine it is. Shouldn't be any 2014 production VINs yet.
