I'm thinking you do...that srt 8 is only 425 hp I think.

My run against an RT. He had exhaust and I had cold air and mufflers (no resonator & 40 series flowmaster) at the time. It was one of my slower runs from the night and ignore the red light I think he jumped first anyway.

I had a 300 SRT, butt dyno says the Camaro feels faster.. but it is also about 400 pounds lighter.. so..

I ran a srt8 charger the other day and he ran a 12.9(bone stock) vs my 12.3. He said his best of the day was 12.6 but I didn't see the run.

My friend as a 2012 SRT8 charger and he had a roto fab intake at the time. I think dodge says that the 2012 had about 475hp. When he and I raced i would win every time by just a nose. That was when i only had a ported throttle body and everything else stock so you should win in a race for sure.

Rt's are SLOW!!! High 13s are a great pass for one, SRTs run the same as l99s mid low 13s.

that's not true.. All manufacturers do it because of C.A.R.B. and EPA regulations. All makes and models gain something from a tune, because all OEM cars are tuned on the conservative side. For the Higher End Mustangs Ford offers a "track key" that has a different chip in it to tell the PCM to tune for track mode. Beyond that, I can't think of any manufacturer that doesn't detune for the sake of regulations. besides, if they tune to the limits from the factory, then all these after-market companies wouldn't exist and everyone would bitch about there not being an after-market market for more performance.

Ya I agree, it's pretty lame! BUT, lately the l99 with the right trans tune is kicking some real aZZ at the tracks! The m6 in these cars sucks... My car went from 12.4-12.3s to 11.7s on my first time out swapping to the th400! I also trapped higher, once I fix my 1-2 shift and a few little things I am looking at sub 11.5s with a baby cam, headers, and drag radials!

depends which year srt8. the pre 2011(without the 392) should be equal. however with the new 392 ( esp, if its auto) you will get your ass handed to you. I have a 2014 ss and my cousin has the 2013 392 . and dont even try it from a roll.....
