I had a 2LT RS before I got my 2SS, and I have still gone faster in the V6 then with my V8... Splitters create downforce at speed, and the V6 is plenty capable of 200+ KPH. Quit talking out your a$$.

Same could be said for a Bimmer driver trolling a Camaro forum

QFT!

Actually on the v6's the splitter makes the front end look "finished" - it seems to be missing something without it. Just be more aware of kerbs especially if you park forwards!

BMW GUYS.. douches on the road and internet?? LOL

BMWs should not have front splitters, might scratch it every time your car has to go on the lift for a repair

But being honest, I don't think anyone's splitters are serving a true purpose unless you are spending some serious time on the road course and that is a small crowd of Z/28 and a small % of the 1LE guys, which is miniscule compared to the general camaro population. In my opinion I wouldnt spend all that money to church up a 1LS, I would save so you can trade up down the road. But thats just me. No doubt the splitter/spoiler combo you are talkign about will look good, but is it worth the money to slap on to the base base model of the camaro? your call
Not spending money on a car because it isn't top of the line makes no sense. With that logic you shouldn't soup up your SS or ZL1. Just get a Z/28, or better yet why waste any money on a car that isn't a Euro sports car.

The majority of people do not track their cars, they have their cars because they're good looking cars. IMO my Camaro looks tons better than the stock SS, and it's plenty fast enough to smoke most of the cars around here if I really wanted to

Ok guys great news! I talked to tony at apr performance and he said the apr splitter in addition to the 2010-13 camaro also fits the 2014 models as well! The reason being it is a flat splitter that you need to measure and drill your own holes for. He sent me a picture of a 14 v6 rocking one I'll attach it, looks good! Would anyone be interested in a group buy? Again it fits all model camaros (except zl1 they make a special splitter for that)

Well the apr splitter comes in 2 versions I believe, fiberglass and carbon, I'll probably just go fiberglass, but like I said I'm trying to get some details from tony @apr for a group but with special pricing

It couldn't be made to fit? Well it fits the 2010-2013 all camaros and the 2014 v6 for sure. Seems it would for the 14 ss. But most 14 ss owns would op for a z/28 splitter or a 1le splitter anyway

I have the ARP Carbon Fiber front splitter on my SS. It is not for everyone, but I like it. It can be a real pain to put on trust me. You have to make sure you mount into the steel support frame of the car.
