It was on an airfield. Not sure how often they run there. This was my first race in Germany.

Nice win. Ahh yes, the Porsche . . . they taste a bit like grilled pork chops.

Should the Mustang have the same excuse... Oh its only a 1/4 mile car. Dont test the GT Track Pack against a 1LE on a road course, Dont test the BOSS 302 on a road course vs the ZL1.. Maybe Ford should build a road course car.

Really who thinks this way.

If you bring your car to the 1/4 mile track and lose dont make excuses. Man up and say good run.

lol
but i'm sure you'd still want one and there are lot's of porsches running the streets that will put a beat down on pretty much anything.
try a 911 turbo in a 1/4 mile race or 0-60 (they run 3.4 and 11.1 )

running a 12.2 in CAMARO ZL1 just got beat by the electric TESLA car
even the PANAMERA turbo 4 door porsches run (3.6 and 11.6)

Look it up; 2013 fully optioned GT3 can be $180K. Not sure why you would doubt it.

LOL, no you can keep the Porsche. Slap a set of 22's (street tires) on the Porsche and lets have at it! So I ran a 12.1 on 22 pirelli's with about 2" of sidewall. What do you suppose the car would run with a set of 17" Weld's and DR's? I keep these wheels on the car for the looks and the fact that they are $8K a set. Thank goodness they came with the car when I bought it.

Thanks! I am rather partial to them too. I considered getting a set of wheels to race with, but I sort of like the muscle show car look. For me the track was a one and done thing!

From Motor Trend:

  • Base price $131,350 plus but can be had fully loaded for almost $40,000 of options. Sorry, I was off by $8,000.
