Magnacharger.....
So, not to start any more teaser threads and get peoples hopes up needlessly (I know I'm tired of it) but..... I was at Stillen this weekend picking up my new spoiler and front splitter (a big thanks to James who hooked me up with a great deal on the two) and was talking with a couple of the guys there about different performance upgrades and installs. As we were talking they mentioned that they work closely with Magnacharger and that they are currently working on a supercharger kit for our V6. He didn't really have a whole lot of details about, just that his contact there had told them they are developing one and it should be ready soon. Now, I'm not about to get all excited about this as we have been mislead time after time about our V6's. I think someone should try to get a hold of magnacharger and see if there is some more validity to this. Anyway, Just thought I'd share what I heard.

See If Jessika on this forum is allowed to shed any light on this for you. She can be found the the supercharger threads and works for Magnason.

Ok because I'm persistent I called back. I'll leave the reps name unknown , but she confirmed they were going to release a kit. I asked her for details and she said she would check with her sales director when he got back from lunch and give me a call back.

No I talked to two different sales reps. I also called from two different numbers lol. The guy I first talked to seemed like a douche anyway. The lady I spoke with the second time was helpful.

Well, hopefully you hear back with some more details. I was hoping when I heard it that it would be true as this is the route I would like to go. I'm still not going to get my hopes up. I'll believe it when I see a kit on someones car running with pricing numbers, a Dyno & 1/4 mile to back it up... lol.

I always thought that Lingenfelter had a S/C for the V6??
Here's a video of it |

They never finished developing it. The kit has never been released. The only known car to have it is their test one in the video and know one has seen any real dyno numbers on it or heard anything else about it for that matter.

Hrmmm...interesting!
yeah, someone should should contact the Jessica person the SS owner above pointed out lol. I'd do it, but I'm pretty sure theres no way I'll be getting a forced induction kit for my car anytime soon...if ever. But if I had the extra money to spare........
