Thinking Nitrous but what if
I get pulled over and the officer sees N20 switch or goes in the trunk and finds a bottle? Is it illegal?

it varies from state to state on whether it's illegal for street use.
I don't think it's illegal to have in the car because you should be able to use it at drag strips. But i'm not 100% sure on that. There was a member on here that put his bottle under the carpet, where the spare would be, so you can't see it at all. I'll probably do that so I don't lose any trunk space, what little there is. lol Need to get a purge kit and install it the way you want, so that it sprays out the windshield.

That's called purging. You want to purge your line from the bottle to the solenoid so that you get a full charge of liquid nitrogen. Pretty much to make sure there is no air in the lines. And you can put it anywhere, so that it can spray out from under the hood, under the car, back of the car...where ever.

The legal way is to have the main feed line disconnected at the bottle until you're at the track. You don't want the bottle open and pressurizing the line constantly because it puts undue stress on the solenoid and they recommend when not in use to relieve the pressure.

you can have nitrous in your car, you just cant use it on the street.
and you should never just leave the bottle on becides what was stated above it can leak out and filling a bottle isnt cheap lol. you can run the purge anywere you want i did mine out the fender but you can do it out of the hood
