Anyone using a line lock on the M6?

I was wondering how well the line locks worked for 60ft times and overall launch

Line lock is only used for burnouts, not for launching.

Hmm back in the day I used it to launch on my 71 camaro lol
Guess I was doing something wrong, but it worked great with a standard tranny.

How? I would think you would burn up the clutch.

Yep, unless he's just using it to keep from rolling. I've never had an issue with the car staying on the starting line though.

line loc to launch? i have heard of people using it with a two step as a poor man's trans brake with an auto.

with a stick, just launch it man. if you are bracket racing and need to stage at the exact same milimeter in the beam each time without moving then i guess you can wire it up to the clutch pedal so it doesn't roll, just dont press the brakes and the clutch at the same time, lol.

Yea I just used it in place of the brake so I wouldn't roll I don't have three feet so I hit the switch and the gas at the same time? Seemed like a good idea.

A lot of us use it for burnout and then courtesy staging. Personally, I let go of it when both cars are staged before the tree starts to fall. These cars are heavy enough that they won't go anywhere until the clutch grabs.
