New here and had some questions about the LS.
Hey guys, I have followed this site for the past few months and decided to finally register today. Everyone here seems to have a wealth of knowledge about the Camaro and I would appreciate your insight.
I am in the process of getting my 2010 Camaro LS. I am hoping to get my car in the next week or so, and cannot wait to start upgrading my LS, but I had some questions first. I went to test drive the car the other day and the blind spots were not bad at all. I was a bit concerned with the front windshield, it seems rather small and I was wondering if you guys got used to the small front window and if you even notice it anymore? Also, The LS does not have seat height adjustment for the driver and I am 5”7, while test driving the car I did not have much of an issue. I was wondering if someone who were shorter would have an issue if they were driving? Other than those two concerns, the car is amazing. Thanks, Force |

You can adjust the height in the Camaro by pumping the lever on the left side of the seat. You will be able to raise the seat to a comfortable level. The front window is not bad at all after a couple of drives. I have no problems with visibility.

You will get used to the windshield very quickly. If the seat is fine for you then that's all that matters, or is someone shorter gonna be driving? Either way, it should be fine. I hope you get your car very soon. Congrats!!

Visibility improves as your confidence improves in knowing where the limits are.

Welcome to Camaro5.com
I don't think you'll have a problem adjusting the seat to the proper height, Members here are from 5 foot tall to 6 foot 5 inches from what I've read. When you take delivery have the dealers staff go over the seat adjustments with you... |

Hmmm ... Didn't know about the pump on the LS for the seat ... Wonder if there is a way to retrofit on the passenger side ... That would be cool .

Thanks for the info guys, I likewise had no clue about the lever. I've read reviews of the LS where people have complained about the missing height adjustment haha. Thanks for the input on the seat adjustment and visibility everyone, I cannot wait to get my car!!
Retro500- very nice looking car, thats prob the first thing I will get done is the tinting. I was thinking about getting leather added to my Camaro as well. |

There's a thread somewhere about how to adjust your mirrors to eliminate the blind spots. I did it and it works great.
The only thing I really didn't like about the LS was the wheels, so it was the first thing I replaced. Other than that, I love it. It's perfect for modding. |

The LS is a great car ! Put on HID headlights and tru foglights. Injen CAI, Solo catback exhaust, Havoc dove tail spoiler, Barton short throw shift, Bluetooth onstar. And the bling of the 68 racing flags ! The car is just the way I want it without the cost !

I am really looking forward to getting my Camaro, thanks everyone for all of your helpful info...I am also curious how this car is as a daily driver, I already know that it gets great MPG. Between work and school I get to drive in the morning traffic and the lovely 5 PM traffic. How is this car when driving in bumper to bumper traffic? Is it easy enough to switch lanes effectively?
