roush 3 vs SS

now what do you thank is the better the roush stage 3 is a supercharged V8 with arond 415 HP along with new dampers and more suspenson parts vs the Camaro SS (LS3) with a 6.2 leter V8 with 422 HP with IRS and I thank that the SS is better with more power I most likelee to cost less yalls thoughts

The SS should almost certainly be cheaper, however I'd imagine the Roush will be much lighter and so will be able to overcome its small power deficit. All in all the Roush might be able to take the SS, but for the extra money the Roush would cost you could easily mod your SS to dominate it at the track.

+1. I mean, how much does that particular model Roush cost; probably another $10+K? You could easily add a lot more to an SS and outshine that car in many, if not all respects. I don't think this would necessarily be a fair comparison because this isn't really a Ford-built car, like the SS is. Regardless, some of the bodykits that go on those tuner's Mustangs border on rice

7 hp won't make up for a 150 pounds. That's a guess based on the weight of the supercharger and the upgraded suspension. The Camaro will have better balance and have IRS, but the sport suspension on the stang should make up for that. But the Camaro will be much cheaper.

I think everyone agrees... For the extra price you're paying for the Stage 3 Roush, you could take that money and make an SS that would destroy the Mustang. As in many of the other threads you're comparing N/A vs S/C. Put forced induction and an upgraded suspension on the Camaro with the money you save and it's no longer even an argument.

i could put about $6000 into a twin turbo and get about 600 horses, and still have $15000 left for suspention

That roush is a good mid 12 second car

I was driving my g/fs 01 GT on the freeway one day and one of those roushs came up next to me. We both shifted into 3rd and he left me like I was parked. Dude mustve been doing 140+ by the time I hit 110
