It looks pretty nice to me, besides it says ZL1 on the bottom so I won't get it confused with a Spark.

I really wish they were coming out with the zl1 sooner. I was about to put a supercharger in my 2ss this summer with other upgrades. I dont know if I should keep my car the way it is and trade it in for the new zl1 early next year. I want them to make the gauages a little nicer. Im not crazy about the plastice looking gauges. At least make it all carbon fiber. Yes, they can give us a nicer steering wheel. Oh yeah, I think the zl1 should have more horse than the cts v

Very nice write-up. I am looking forward to seeing more pictures (larger) and the zl1 in different colors. I am also very anxious to start hearing some performance numbers.

The zl1 imo has all of the right stuff in it. The only thing about it that I like less than everything else is the rear spoiler. Its something about the corners and the way the third brake light sits in it that sticks out to me...in a less positive way. The spoiler doesn't "spoil" the look of the whole car though!

Bring it on.

Have to agree with everyone else (well almost everyone else). The shape is nice, the material is nice, but the center is awful. Maybe replacing the Chevy logo with the word Camaro, or even the old red, white, and blue badge from back in the 80's would help.

The wheel just doesn't fit the 'retro' feel of the gauges.

Maybe if they took the current one and gave it the feel and flat bottom. Kind of like the Audi RS4 wheel.

I agree about the steering wheel. I think they should put the ZL1 emblem in the center. It's a nice touch that really finishes off the interior.

I'm a little surprised they didn't upgrade the seats considering this car has seen some road courses.

Off topic; I love the interior of the RS4. My friend let me drive his RS4 and it was awesome.

Well...they kinda did. The suede should keep one in the seat quite well...and we don't know if they're going to offer racing seats or not....

aluminum/carbon fiber combination should be lighter if not the same as the current aluminum hood. Wheels will also be slightly lighter.
Im not sure if the hood will be noticeably lighter than a flat all aluminum hood since bracing has to be added. It's probably a wash or insignificant either way. The wheels should be lighter but the larger tires will weigh more

Or smaller and towards the center?

Better?

I think the "Z" and the "L" letters should have a mirror finish on the steering wheel and maybe the "1" should be reflective as well.
