I usually have to wait until 7:15, but then it is back. Could be worse...

This site is always crashing. Sometimes it just gives a list of dates when looking up forums. Other times it says the site is not owned by GM or something silly like that. Other times it is just not doing anything. Out of 20 times a day during the day trying to get on it, it is down 12 of those times.

I see this also. It is usually just a few minute overload. I come back a bit later and no problem. Most of the time I get in, but can't go to the thread I click

I was having big issues yesterday accessing the forums. No prblems today.
It's due to the fact that we all love our Camaros so much and just want to share that enthusiasm with other Camaro owners as much as possible.
Or sunspots. Whatever.

I too thought it was work until I read about others and experienced it at home. Work it is I guess...

Quite sure it's just scheduled tasks going on in the background now. And I wouldn't call it a crash... just unavailable. Anyone experiencing a crash might try a different browser.

I'm in the 8am exactly every weekday also. I'm EST. Like a backup or something kicks in every day and makes the site unavailable for about 5 min.

Same here, every damn day, just later on the clock because I'm an hour to the east of you two.. Here, it's down for more like an hour, and if I haven't done anything with a thread before 7:00 AM it's not worth my time to come back before almost 9:00 AM.

Been like this at least a couple of months.

I don't have this daily unavailability problem on any other forum that I belong to.

If it is scheduled tasks, why can't they be rescheduled to fall between 7AM and 9AM in some time zone out in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean???

If this is one of the biggest challenges in our lives, I'd say we have pretty good lives!

The thing about irritations is that they annoy all out of proportion to their importance.

I have a worse forum software-related irritation over on a Mustang forum that isn't helping.

Between 05:00 and 05:30 Pacific time seems to be the troubled time for me. That's when I'm updating Fast List's with my morning coffee.

I have just resigned myself to the fact that If I don't get my morning post submitted before 7:00 (my time), it will just have to wait until I get a minute at work or later in the day. I hardly ever have problems at any other time.

As with any website ever made and ever will be made. If there is a problem. First step is clear cache and cookies on your browser. Restart the computer. Voila.
