You'll be able to get under MSRP from CamaroScotty. His dealership is really agreeable. They'll even ship to you.

I don't know about ordering but the dealer near me was willing to discount $1k off the MSRP on a 2SS sitting on the lot.

Yeah, I got just under $5000 off msrp off my 2ss.
I walked in 15 minutes prior to the dealership closing for the night 2 days before xmas. I was going to order a manual. But they had the exact one on the lot I wanted, but was a auto. The owner of the lot told me to make a stuiped offer on it. And I asked for a 6k, and he countered with a little under 5k off so I took it. There was no mark up on it either. My coworker who bought one from another dealer ship who got nearly 8k off. But to be fair 5k of that was "Product Adjustment." |

I would check with your credit union for supplier pricing and some others have got more off with other outside incentives. Get that in place first, then got to dealer and bicker and negotiate before telling them about the discounts.
What I do is negotiate at the dealer I do not want to buy from, get the sales agreement printed out with all the options, price, vin etc. Tell them you need something to give your bank or credit union for the loan. If they insist on faxing it, tell them you have a family member who works there and will be giving it to them. When you have the sales agreement, take it to dealer you want to work with and negotiate a price but do not show them the other dealers agreement. When they give you their best offer, tell them you have an offer of "X" and if they can beat it by $500 or so, they have a deal. You can also go into the I really prefer the other dealers exterior color...etc. even if you don't . It has worked on the last 3 new cars I have bought. It seems kind of "rude" this means, but honestly, the last 3 salespeople I had dealt with were complete sharks...Other than the man I bought my Camaro from. And stay away from the paint protectant, warranties, carpet protectant...Buy and finance the car with NO add ons. You can always get the warranty through GM later and pay cash. And all the other "protectants" are shams. I added this because what the dealer loses in top end by negotiating, they try real hard to add stuff, including some real swift and questionable lending. And secure your FICO score and obtain outside financing Sorry for the rant..

I got USAA and another FCU discount; a $1750 savings. Not huge, but better than
paying MORE than MSRP! |
