Is the pattern indented on the shifter ball or painted on? Painted on would be a little bit of fine sandpaper and it's gone. If it's engraved on there, you could have it filled and painted.

This is why I didn't buy a shift knob. Couldn't find a V6 pattern

You know thos knobs and how they can be........just about the time you think you have the right one it up and changes.

PS: I think dr jkel needs to make a trip to ATL for the MTI meet up Saturday. I think it's going to be a nice day with lots of testosterone floating around!

Just call Hurst I was told that they will give you a ball with the v6 pattern on it as long as you have the receipt.
