Got bored Tuesday, installed ADM Cold air intake
installed ADM cold air intake, wow, quality and instruction are awesome. performance is nice, great throttle response and nice tone added to exhaust. also made a custom ram air from the lower front grill to filter. I used aircraft scat tubing.

it was pretty easy. when i installed the hose from the bottom all the way to the filter, i noticed on deceleration i was getting a hesitation, like a miss. I drove to dallas on friday and about 1/2 way there the check engine light came on. So after about another hour, i pulled over and moved the hose off to the side a bit instead of directly at the filter. pulled the battery cable, started it up, the check engine light went out and no more hesitation. i guess it was to much direct air.

Can you explain a little more on the hose mod, and what is that in the pic after the hose.
It's blurry and I can't figure out what that is. |

ADM performance has a race cai and a air scoop you can add, but they recommend a tune with that one. i guessing because of all the air directed to the filter. i dont have a picture of the relocation but i just pointed it so its not directly pointed at the filter but still in the box. |

I did this mod some time ago when I had a LMR intake, I still have it with my CAI intake and washer bottle delete. Never had a CEL come on. Don't know if it's really helping for HP, but I don't think it's hurting any.
