Pros cons andynos would be appreciated so I can make an informed purchase.
More important question is how important is driveability to you? I have the Night Fury and it get a little old when youre sitting in traffic or trying to drive through a neighborhood. I dont know the specs on the JRE cam, but the Night Fury cam has 10* overlap, which is quite a bit, and its a fairly aggressive cam. I would bet the JRE cam has close to no overlap which will give you a lot better daily driving manners. If I were to do it over again, (Which I have been considering lately) Id put a less aggressive cam in.

I have an L99 and driveability is not a problem, My car is my DD.. Even make trips in it.. Don't forget the tune plays a huge role..

How about a nice middle of the road. We've made 497 rwhp in manual cars with porting the stock heads. I'd do some head work while you have it apart.

What problems do you have specifically with the driveability?

Did you do your conversion when you did your cam/ where did you order from and did they sell you the conversion kit with the cam. I want to avoid any issues so getting them both from the same place would be ideal

Lethal done the conversion when they installed the Night Fury. They can fix you up with everything you need to install the cam and LS3 conversion.

not trying to thread jack here,

with all these cams here you are saying there is no need for a LS3 conversion? What about a converter?

Thanks for the info! How's the sound/driveability and what else you have done to your Camaro?

I didn't notice a converter. Are you a LS3 or L99?

Yeah LS3, manual.
All the mods are listed on the dyno page.

Sound is INCREDIBLE. Driveability is a little sketch, having to relearn how to drive it... that's mostly related to it being a manual though. I wouldn't trade it for anything. Worth it!

Unless its a vvt cam you need the ls3 conversion which is basically removing vvt and afm

I added a set of 3.91s to my car with a Night Fury. It's easier to drive now than when it was stock. I taught my wife, who had never driven a standard prior, how to drive my car after the gears.

OP is a L99 so if he does the Night Fury he needs to plan on a 3200-3600 converter as well. Not sure about the JRE cam needing a converter. If you are okay with some driveability loss then for sure go with the night fury because from what I have seen it makes some KILLER POWER. Just be forwarned that its not going to drive like stock. I am a big fan of L99 owners doing ported or aftermarket heads at the time of the cam install as well because they have to come off anyway and all the springs and other head hardware is already built into the price vs having to buy it all seperate. I would recommend doing a ton of research on this and everyting you need in addition to the cam because you dont want a cam that you are going to hate or worse have a parts failure. Do it once do it right..
