Our awesome salesman called the DBC to get the scoop on my dad's 'maro, VIN A9101479, built 3/30. Still in Oshawa. Quality control issue, they said. I guess that if anyone could fix the problem, it should be the factory. I'm so anxious to see, ride, drive the car. I am more exited than he is! So impatient. Anyway, just to let you guys know, QC issues are affecting at least to #1479.

Yeah, I remember reading somewhere it was like the first 2000 cars.

atleast they caught the problem, so thats the good news with it. Patience is a virtue, but dam! no one said it was fun lol Hang in there, cant wait to see pics of it, what exactly did you order?

The smart money is on your car being in Pontiac Michigan awaiting completion of multiple upgrades and replacements along with the other cars. I got an email from my dealer yesterday telling me that I was at 4200 - Shipped from Source Plant. He said it's on it's way..........it's not. I got outside confirmation last week that my car actually arrived in Michigan on the 15th. So, your dealer and the DBC's information might be a little behind your cars actual status and or location.

just an fyi for those of you early VIN #'s stuck in "Area 51" as it's been named in the 5thgen forum..........a members (Salena) car that has been stuck there awhile, VIN in the 200's i believe, well, it's been released and is in rail!

there's hope!

Selena is #192 and yeah, I heard that too.

That's 1. 2099 to go. Actually a lot more than that have shipped from what I hear, but they have a long way to go.

I'm not looking for my car to arrive until the end of May, early June. Maybe that way I'll be excited if they call me early.

It's a 2SS/RS L99 with sunroof, no stripes, no add ons. And I agree, I'm glad that it was caught up there instead of the first rainy day after delivery. I am just so anxious!
